Lots of ‘Looper’ Stuff

Posted by Max Lalanne on June 28, 2012

I should probably say that I’m not watching any more Looper trailers, because I already know that this is going to be one kickass sci-fi action film that I definitely am seeing. So I didn’t watch this new one, nor the international cut I posted yesterday. And crazily enough – no coincidence, I swear! – Looper‘s director Rian Johnson tweeted yesterday, “If you’re already set on seeing Looper, I’d avoid any trailers from here on out. They don’t ruin the movie, but they tip a few little things that are fun to discover in the context of the movie.” After probably recieving some frantic “YOU MEAN THERE ARE SPOILERS?!?” replies he went on to write, “Just to clarify I approved all the trailers, they’re great an [sic] they won’t ruin anything big. But the small things they tip are fun to discover in the movie.” You don’t know how relieving it is, in this age of constant spoilers, to hear something like that straight from the director himself. Seriously.

And here’s a bonus behind-the-scene photo taken from the official Looper tumblr. Guess this is a spoiler in itself, but then again it would have been pretty unavoidable for Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon Levitt’s characters not to meet, right? Hit the jump for more photos lifted from the blog’s archives.
